Cover of 2013 Customer Satisfaction Survey ResultsGuelph Hydro Inc. participates bi-annually in the Electric Utility Customer Satisfaction Survey, a telephone survey conducted by UtilityPULSE, a division of Simul Corporation.

This survey gauges the satisfaction of customers with the services of and their experiences with their local electric utility. Utilities are graded on the quality of information they provide to customers, the professionalism, attitude and helpfulness of staff, timeliness of response, and accessibility as well as a variety of other factors.

In 2013, Guelph Hydro Inc. ranked number one in customer satisfaction among 14 Ontario electric utilities that took part in the Annual Electric Utility Customer Satisfaction Survey. With 96% of surveyed customers reporting they are "very" or "fairly" satisfied, Guelph Hydro also scored substantially higher than the national and provincial customer satisfaction averages for utility companies.
