What is MyEnergy View?

MyEnergy View is the online customer portal for Alectra Utilities (formerly Guelph Hydro) customers. Sign up and get easy, 24/7 access to your account information. This includes your billing and payment history as well as charts that display your electricity use patterns.

How do I sign up?

To sign up, simply click on the button below. You will be asked to enter your account number as it appears on your Guelph Hydro/Alectra Utilities bill. (Note: You must enter your account exactly as it appears on your bill, including any leading zeros and the dash "-".)

If you don't wish to enter your account number each time you log in, create an "Alias User ID."

Enter your email address so we can register your account number and send you your password. You can change your password after you log in.

Once I receive my password via email, how do I log on?

Go to the Guelph Hydro website. Enter your account number or alias user ID in the MyEnergy View login box. Enter your password, then click Login. Change your password to something that is easier to remember under Profile.

What if I forget my account number, user ID or password?
  • If you forget your account number or user ID, call Customer Service at 519-822-3010. You will be required to answer security questions to identify yourself.
  • If you forget your password, click on "Forgot Password" and enter your account number or user ID. We will email your password to the email address we have for your account. 
Can other people see my data?
No. MyEnergy View uses the same types of systems that banks use to ensure data privacy and security.
