Residential customers on Tiered Pricing are charged one rate for the electricity used in 30 days below a set threshold. Any electricity consumed above the threshold in the 30 days is charged at a different rate.

Multi-Residential Buildings |
Customers with more than one dwelling unit as defined under the Condominium Act, Tenant Protection Act or the Co-operative Corporation Act can declare this information to Guelph Hydro / Alectra Utilities in writing used the Self-Declaration form for Multi-Unit Premises and Price Plan Election. Tiered Pricing rates will be applied according to the number of units (not applicable under Time-of-Use prices). Multi-Residential Units on Tiered Pricing are charged one rate for the electricity used in 30 days per unit below a set threshold. Any electricity consumed above the threshold in the 30 days per unit is charged at a different rate.
