The vast majority of Ontario electricity users pay Time-of-Use rates for the electricity they consume. These rates are set by the Ontario Energy Board.
There are three Time-of-Use price periods:

February 8, 2022 - Time-of-Use and Tiered prices have resumed. January 18 through February 7, 2022, electricity prices were set at the off-peak price of 8.2¢/kWh, 24 hours per day for all regulated price plan customers. The off-peak rate was applied automatically to residential, small businesses and farms who pay Time-of-Use or Tiered prices set by the Ontario Energy Board. On February 8, 2022, RPP Time-of-Use prices resumed:

Rate Changes for Residential and Small Business Customers Effective January 18, 2022 From January 18, 2022 through February 7, 2022, the government of Ontario is implementing a discounted RPP rate for residential and small business customers of 8.2¢/kWh. This rate will be in place all day, every day, regardless of whether your rate plan is Tiered or Time of Use. This rate will be applied automatically, and it will not affect your rate option (Tiered or TOU) once the discounted rate expires; you are not required to do anything.

COVID-19: Ontario Extends Electricity Rate Relief During COVID-19 The Government of Ontario has implemented a COVID-19 Recovery Rate. From June 1 to October 31, 2020, households, farms, and small businesses who pay Time-of-Use electricity rates will be charged 12.8¢/kWh around the clock. The chart below shows the Time-of-Use rates effective June 1, 2020.

If you've signed an electricity contract with an energy retailer company, these prices will not affect you since you pay the price in your contract.
